I got a sofa on eBay and was meant to have it delivered too but it was raining so hard, I said i would arrange for it to get picked up next weekend.  The seller called me on Sunday and said they could drop it over 'now', so they did and the sofa is excellent. Nicer than I expected, but i knew it would be nice because it is nearly brand new.  My phone went flat on Sat afternon so I didn't bother to recharge it until tonight (Monday) so I was a hermit Sat night and Sunday.

After the sofa got delivered on Sunday, I just hung out at home doing domestics and playing with the cats.  Today I went shopping and brought a bunch of stuff that I don't have for my new place - toaster, kettle, dinner settting, saucepans, kitchen utensils etc.  I got a very nice Russell Hobbs kettle and matching fancy pants toaster for 50% off.
